 How's my driving?

If he doesn't feel like he's crashing his car directly into your character's bedroom, I'm probably doing something wrong.

Backtagging: Sure. Can't guarantee a reply, but I wouldn't mind.
Threadjacking: Minimize it.
Fourthwalling: Don't.
Offensive Subjects: LMAO I'D BE A SHIT JACK PLAYER IF I MINDED. Knock yourself out. I'm hard to squick.

[ IC ]

Hugging him: Yeah, feel free. He'll welcome it from girls and some guys.
Kissing him: Go ahead. He might intensify it if you're a hot girl.
Flirting with him: Yes, flatter his ego until it grows the size of a planet and explodes. That is the only true way to defeat him.
Sex with him: If your character's a hot girl, then yeah. Guys... ehhh... situational, but twinks, probably.
Fighting him: Lol, I can understand wanting to. Go ahead.
Injuring him: Mild, yes. Vital, talk to me.
Killing him: Talk to me.
Using Telepathy on him: I'd rather you don't. Jack's thoughts will often be disparate with what he's saying. I don't want his plans outed because your character can read his thoughts. As much as possible, use the excuse that he got alien material stuck in his face and it fills your character's brain with creepy alien whispers whenever they try. If you Really Have To, talk to me.

Warnings: Jack is a violent sadist and manipulator, and he has a pretty dark sense of humor. If you don't like that type of character, don't engage. If you would like to opt out of him completely, tell me here.

HYPERION the Company

HYPERION is a Tech Company in Aifaran co-owned by Handsome Jack and Don situated at the city district. It started off with a focus on private security, then immediately branched off to expand to scientific discoveries and making new, useful robotics for the betterment of the city population. The Hyperion building is a ten-story glass building with half of it dedicated to labs and a working factory. Most of the grunt labor in terms of creating and handling goods is delegated to bots. There is a store at the ground floor where people can sign up for their security plans or purchase smaller gadgets, like shields and utility bots. The security plans allow bartering when it comes to resources while one-off purchases are cash only. Every month, Hyperion hosts guest seminars that talk about science/magic/magitech in Aifaran or conventions that show off tech.

Employees of Hyperion receive monthly pay for their services, as well as free housing in an associated condo near the workplace. Each room has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a living area with a kitchen. The building itself has a recreation area, a gym, and a swimming pool.

At present, Hyperion only has around 20 employees, but it is always hoping to expand. Hyperion is always hiring with a focus on Scientists, Engineers, and Hired Muscle.

Khu Ioduan information

TALENT: Upon arrival in Aifaran, Jack has received an ability from the school of Illusion! Phantasm - the ability to create mental impressions that only the subject(s) experiences!

Level 1 Skill: You can create an image of a small creature or object in the mind of one person (including yourself) for up to ten minutes, and it will be readily believable by most individuals.

ARRIVAL, HOUSING & NETWORK ACCESS:

Your character will appear somewhere within the city of Aifaran, as it is the concentrated center of the archipelago's power. They should be able to easily find their way to the Dreaming Bridge, since Dreamfolk arriving clueless and confused is a regular occurrence here! Once there, your character has been assigned to the Breakwater Wing in Room #01 and can get settled in. The Dreaming Bridge also provides characters with a basic stipend of various necessities and a small allowance of funds (around the equivalent of $50 worth), since meals are provided at the Bridge for all residents (although it's basically cafeteria food). If your character has any special needs (dietary, mobility, etc), the staff will help them with these requests.

An Opara Core technician on-site will also provide them with their network login information, and will help them with some basic tutorials if they seem unfamiliar with this style of technology. They'll also be issued a mobile handset (a "yimo") at this time and shown how to charge it off the stationary terminals. Remember that your character won't have access to the network without getting a login, so while they may have been able to view some other people's broadcasts, they won't be able to reply or make their own until they've gotten their own login.

IC INBOX

Handsome Jack here! I'm totally busy right now, what with having an awesome life and all. Why don't you leave a message? Or not... if you called just 'cause you wanted to hear my beautiful voice, you know what, I'm fine with that. It's angelic, I'm aware.

Oh, and, stop leaving messages where you're just heavy breathing for five minutes and then nothing. You know that's super weird, right? You know who you are.

[ Leave a message here! If you're texting him to leave hate messages or love confessions, buddy, he'll just laugh at them. ]
